Who we work with
Our main affiliate partner is Viator, a travel booking platform. Links marked "Book on
Viator" and similar are affiliate links, tagged in the page's HTML with
rel="sponsored" so search engines and screen readers can identify them as
commercial.
How we choose what to recommend
We recommend things based on whether they are worth a traveller's time and money, not on what pays best. In practice that means:
- We describe what a product actually includes. If a link goes to a full-day guided tour rather than a simple entry ticket, the page says so — including when that makes it more expensive or more of a commitment than you might expect.
- We say when something is overrated, crowded, or not worth booking ahead. A guide that recommends everything is worthless.
- We do not invent urgency, claim to have the lowest price, or fake scarcity to push a booking.
- Where two of our recommendations are really the same underlying product, we say so rather than presenting them as separate options.
What we do not receive
We are told by our partners how many clicks and bookings came from this site, in aggregate, so commission can be calculated. We do not receive your name, contact details or payment information.
